  • Tinker Tailor’ is a centuries-old counting game and fortune telling song. Using the names of contrasting career paths, children select participants or equipment for their games. The light-hearted question is, what can CEOs learn from this nursery rhyme?

Children possess an almost magical ability to learn through playing. Often, even the simplest of games and songs contain hidden meaning. The ‘job titles’ differ from country to country, culture to culture, and century to century, but none of the versions contain ‘CEO’! So, if we’re not encouraged to become leaders at an early age, then how do we become successful leaders?
